Updated: 1/6/2025The City of Lowden does not currently employ any police officers. At this time, the City is seeking a part-time police officer. Interested candidates should apply through the City Clerk’s Office.

The Lowden Police Department is located at 404 Washington Ave, Lowden, IA 52255, and is committed to maintaining safety and order within our community. Our police chief serves with professionalism, integrity, and a focus on building trust with residents.
Law Enforcement and Emergency Response
Emergencies
Call 911. Emergency calls originating within the city are routed through the county dispatch system and handled by the appropriate responding agency.
Non-Emergency Law Enforcement Needs
For non-emergency situations requiring law enforcement assistance, residents may contact the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office at 563-866-2121. Response is subject to availability and standard county procedures.

House Watch / Increased Patrol Request
