The drinking water advisory due to high magnesium levels has been lifted as of June 6th, 2025.
The Public Works Department has been working with the DNR (Department of Natural Resources) to reduce the levels by running various water tests a couple of times a week. The magnesium level is now below advisory standards, and the town’s water is safe for all ages, from infants to adults.
Thank you for your patience as we worked to get things back to safe levels.
