Discussions
- City council discussed budget needs for the city along with requests from rescue, fire, cemetery, library and public works. Council also discussed the needs of the future police department. The city clerk covered the final year of bond payments for McKinley Avenue, and the SRF loan. The clerk suggested that due to rising energy costs and forecasts, the city might want to consider an investment by switching to solar power for the sewer plant. PW Steinke will bring some information to a future council meeting. PW Director additionally asked for $40,000 for road work, which council agreed to.
