  • Discussion was had in regard to the public works employee clothing allowance. The public works and the council agree that turning in receipts instead of cutting a check is a good idea and a better way of tracking the expense. Turning in receipts will be done for this fiscal year and going forward.

  • Discussion was had with regard to Resolution #25-15 Appoint department committees, and it was brought to the council’s attention there were a couple committees that weren’t included in the resolution. • Discussion was had in regard to Resolution #25-21 Setting up city health insurance. The city clerk reached out to the League of Cities and is reaching out to another individual that the League suggested but hadn’t had a chance to talk with him yet. This resolution was tabled until discussions are had and will be addressed at a later meeting.
  • The city clerk let the council know what smaller garbage bins were found for residents and that she had reached out to the residents who had reached out to her about them. The council did discuss and decided that if a resident gets a smaller bin, they will still need to keep the original bin at their residents in case they move so the next resident has a bin.
  • Discussion was had in regard to the top 10 ordinances for the TRACS system.
