Dear Residents,
We are writing to inform you of some important changes to our trash disposal procedures. Effective July 23rd, 2025, all trash must be placed in designated trash bins at your residents.
Previously, residents were able to leave trash bags outside along the curb for collection. However, this practice has become inefficient and has led to trash being placed wherever the resident wants to place it.
To ensure a clean and healthy environment for all residents, we kindly request your cooperation in adhering to the new trash disposal guidelines. Please place all trash in garbage bags in the designated bins with the lid closed. The designated trash bins will need to be placed outside the curbline in front of your resident.
The city will provide each resident with one trash bin. Additional trash bins may be purchased at city hall with a limit of two trash bins per resident with the current garbage charge. If you would like more than two trash bins there will be an additional charge on your monthly utility bill.
The trash bins will continue to be emptied weekly on Wednesday. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the city hall.
